- October 11, 2005: North Memorial and Fairview announce partnership to build new hospital in Maple Grove
- March 22, 2006: The Maple Grove hospital was approved and signed into law by Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty
- June 1, 2007: Construction begins on Maple Grove Hospital
- December 2009: Maple Grove Hospital will open
