Getting started as a new volunteer at Maple Grove Hospital is simple. Our process is designed to ensure that all of our volunteers are introduced to Maple Grove Hospital's Vision, Mission, Values, Guiding Principles, and policies.  Follow the steps below to become a volunteer at Maple Grove Hospital: 

  1. Contact volunteer services at 763-581-1710 to attend volunteer orientation (see schedule below)
  2. Schedule a follow up interview with the Volunteer Coordinator
  3. Finalize the details

 

Step 1: Attend a Volunteer Orientation

The purpose of volunteer orientation is to prepare our volunteers to assist our employees in delivering healthcare as it ought to be. You will learn in detail about the requirements for volunteering at Maple Grove Hospital, obtain important information regarding your safety, patient safety and confidentiality, infection control, and next steps in the volunteer process.

Step 2: The Follow Up Interview

Once you have attended orientation you will need to schedule your follow up interview. You will have an opportunity to speak with our volunteer coordinator regarding your interests in volunteering.

 

Step 3: Finalize the Details 

Should you be selected and choose to join our Volunteer Team, the final step is to ensure all of your records are in order before you begin volunteering and to schedule you for training.
